Bumpers Party

A month or so ago when Nick had drill one weekend, I took the boys with my mom to a party put on by the Candlelighter's (they have a new name now, but I can't remember what it is)...it was at Bumper's at the Northtown Mall, and the whole place was reserved just for this party! The kids got tokens and free food, and got to play on all of the games and rides.

Patrick was funny because at first he wanted to sit on the rides, but he didn't want them to actually go. He made sure we didn't go near those things with a token as long as he was sitting in them :) Here are Patrick and Chase pretending to drive the cars.

Patrick decided he'd had just about enough of that, so Chase went on a couple by himself while Patrick helped watch and take pictures.

After the rides, the boys played games and had some dinner. Patrick and Chase especially liked the game where you shoot the teeth out of the clown's mouth, and any of the games involving balls. Finally, it was time to ride the train, which is Patrick's favorite!

This picture is funny because when we put them in there, Nana told Patrick to hang onto his brother, and Patrick wrapped his arm around Chase's neck and held onto him. After a couple laps, his grip relaxed, and it looked like this. Very cute.

The boys definitely played hard and wore themselves out. After we were done we came home and said hi to Daddy, and they went right to bed!

  1. That looks like so much fun! I am glad that Patrick liked the train this time. Last time I was with you he wouldn't go on it so you took Chasey and Brenna.
